Does this calculator follow the order of operations?
It works like a basic pocket calculator, applying operations from left to right as you select them. For example, 2 + 3 × 4 gives 20. It does not support parentheses or scientific expressions.
How does the percent button work?
The % button divides the displayed number by 100: 15 becomes 0.15. To find 15% of 200, enter 200 × 15 % =. For a percentage increase or decrease, use our Percentage Calculator.
How precise are the answers?
You can enter up to 12 digits per number. Results are rounded to 12 significant digits after each operation, and very large or small values may use scientific notation. Repeating decimals are approximate; this is not an arbitrary-precision calculator.
