Frequently Asked Questions
Can I watermark only certain pages?
Yes. Enter page numbers or ranges such as 1-3, 5. Pages outside the range are unchanged and remain in the exported PDF.
Can I use a transparent logo or non-Latin text?
Use a PNG with transparency for a logo or an image containing your lettering. Text watermarks use the built-in Helvetica font with supported Latin characters; unsupported text is rejected rather than silently replaced.
Does a watermark prevent copying?
No. This tool adds visible text or an image, not encryption or copy protection. A PDF editor may be able to remove the added mark.
Are files uploaded, and what are the limits?
PDFs and watermark images are processed in this browser tab without uploads or saved document history. Use a PDF up to 30 MB and 100 pages. Encrypted documents and PDFs with form or signature fields are not supported.
